Trainee AI Video Editor

TVF Media, a world-leading independent source of factual and documentary content, has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee AI Video Editor.
Based in central London, TVF Digital and Online Post Production deliver high profile and successful campaigns across a wide range of sectors including broadcast media, film, publishing, arts and healthcare. We excel in creating integrated 360 digital solutions that deliver real results across a variety of media from print to social and digital. As part of the TVF Media group, we have worked at the forefront of new media for more than 15 years, with clients including BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, Ogilvy, McCann, Sky among others.
We are growing a team to create and deliver documentary programmes that combine location footage with AI generated content. As a Trainee Editor you will try out and identify the potential of recently launched AI software. Applicants should be able to show skills in editing and an understanding and enthusiasm for the rapidly developing capability of AI. You will also have the opportunity to incorporate content that has benefitted from multiple forms of AI enhanced material into long form documentaries.
- All candidates should have an excellent academic background, with at least a 2.1 from a top university.
- In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for film-making and an enthusiasm for the potential of new technology to create new forms of high quality content.
- The successful candidate is likely to have experience making their own films, as well as editing content.
- Knowledge of the rapidly changing AI software landscape, and an understanding of its capacity to push the limits of story-telling would be an advantage.
